TankLink has made owning remote tank level monitoring solutions easier
and more affordable than ever.
First, let’s talk.
Unless we are going to share analog signal with an existing sensor system,
the telemetry system we quote will most likely have an integrated sensor.
The exceptions to this rule are pressurized vessels, brine tank applications,
and dry bulk goods. There is some information we need before we can assess
the most appropriate sensor. Specifically;
- Bulk Liquid Products
- Chemical compatibility with 316 Stainless Steel and Teflon if a contacting sensor is to be used, or
- Chemical compatibility with Kynar if a non-contacting sensor is to be used
- Tank Height
- We’ll want to match the span of the sensor to the physical span of the tank for the highest resolution of the data
- Tank Location
- The physical address of the location of the tank so we can verify GSM or CDMA cellular coverage
